# Accessibility statement

## 1. Commitment

Equarith wants its website and documentation to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using only a keyboard, screen reader, magnification or reduced-motion preference. The voluntary objective is **WCAG 2.2 level AA**, with relevant practices from the French RGAA framework.

## 2. Conformance status

The website has not yet undergone a complete third-party accessibility audit. Claiming full conformity or a conformity percentage would therefore be inaccurate. This statement transparently describes work in progress and is not a certification.

The scope includes the public website, legal pages, pre-redirect checkout, customer account and web documentation. Desktop-software interfaces will be assessed separately.

## 3. Measures already built in

The website provides or is designed to provide:

- heading structure and semantic landmarks;
- a skip link to main content;
- keyboard-operable navigation and forms;
- visible focus, associated field labels and textual error messages;
- readable contrast and text sizing;
- support for `prefers-reduced-motion`;
- language and direction attributes for right-to-left scripts;
- text alternatives for informative images; and
- responsive layouts and content usable with zoom.

These measures require testing after each change and do not alone prove the absence of barriers.

## 4. Known limits and third-party content

Barriers may remain in complex scientific visualisations, imported documents, installers, technical content or external payment and billing pages. Third-party services have their own accessibility policies, but Equarith remains available to offer a reasonable alternative route for its own service.

Before stable release, an audit should cover at least keyboard navigation, focus order, screen-reader announcements, form errors, 200% and 400% zoom, contrast, motion and representative browser/assistive-technology combinations.

## 5. Reporting a barrier

To report difficulty, request an accessible format or obtain help, email [contact@equarith.com](mailto:contact@equarith.com). If possible, identify the page, intended task, browser and assistive technology without sending sensitive data.

Equarith aims to acknowledge reports within 2 business days and provide an answer or alternative within a reasonable period depending on complexity. A barrier preventing a purchase, licence access or exercise of a legal right receives priority.

## 6. Continuous improvement

Reports are logged and prioritised by impact and feed into product reviews. This statement will be updated following a significant audit, redesign or scope change.
