Intellectual property

The website, visual identity, original text, interfaces, graphical elements, databases and Equarith software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except with written permission or under a statutory exception, reproducing, adapting, making a substantial extraction from, distributing or making them available is prohibited.

“Equarith” identifies the publisher's product and business. The possible absence of a trade-mark symbol is neither a waiver of existing rights nor a representation that a registration has been obtained where it has not.

Third-party libraries remain subject to their respective licences. Data imported by users and equations or exports they produce are not assigned to Equarith; the detailed rules are in the EULA.

Availability and editorial responsibility

The publisher uses reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and the website available and secure. Interruptions may nevertheless be required for maintenance, updates, security or force majeure. Scientific and technical information on the website is general and does not replace model validation, professional advice or checks specific to the intended field of use.
